Melton Dunscombe

             Retired Sergeant Melton Dunscombe, 71, of Patterson, passed away January 9, 2021 at NHC Health Care in Desloge. He was born July 28, 1949 in Gideon, to the late Thomas Dean Dunscombe and Iris Marilyn (Vandine) Seiler. Melton proudly served his country in the United States Marines, when he enlisted at the age of 24. He was honored by Heartland Heroes

           Melton is survived by his children, Glen Dunscombe, Michelle Dunscombe and Shaun Dunscombe; twelve grandchildren; siblings Gregory Dunscombe and wife Diane and Mona Benson.         

           A private inurnment will take place at Jefferson Barracks, at a later date, with full military honors.
