Melissa Jane Hedrick

Melissa “Missi” Jane Hedrick, 55, of Bonne Terre passed away September 3, 2024. She was born June 7, 1969 in Farmington, Missouri to David and Myrna (Barton) Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul L. and Mary Glenda Barton and Troy and Gloria Kennedy.

Missi is survived by her loving children, Danielle “Dani” (Justin) Morris, Destiny (Andre Crenshaw) Hedrick and Dawson (Hannah) Hedrick; grandchildren, Colby Turner, Raegan Morris and Ezra Morris; father of her children, Willard Hedrick; siblings, David (Tanya) Kennedy; niece’s, Shelby (Ryan) Shelton and Madison (Dustin) Sanders; great-nieces, nephews, along with many family members and friends also survive.

 Missi was a kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of all who knew her. With a contagious sense of humor and a love for making others laugh, she brightened the days of those around her. Missi found joy in the simple things in life, from singing and dancing in the rain to fishing in the serene waters. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. Missi a lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.Rest in peace, Melissa” Missi” Jane Hedrick. Your presence in our lives will be dearly missed, but your memory will forever be cherished.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 from 11:30 AM until service time of 12:30 PM at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Pastor Justin Morris officiating. The family will have a private inurnment at Bonne Terre Cemetery.
