Melba Faye Kite

Melba Faye Kite 64 of Leadwood, MO passed away October 25, 2011 at her residence. She was born November 14, 1946 in Leadwood to Ruth E. (Allen) Kite and the late Vernon G. Kite.Melba retired from St. Joe Minerals, where she was employed as the Purchasing Agent.She will be remembered by her beautiful wedding cakes, as well as her cookie jar collection. In addition to her father, Melba was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Gordon C. Kite, Kenneth K. Kite and Larrell A. Kite. She is also survived by her brothers; Vernon G. Kite Jr. and wife Donna of Illinois, Gary E. Kite and wife Donna of Mississippi; sister, Phyllis (Mrs. Herman) Jackson of Terre Du Lac; sister in-law, Carolyn Kite of Leadwood; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday October 27, 2011 at 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.The service will be held Friday October 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge.Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society.
