Melba F. Lawson

Melba Lawson, 80 of Bonne Terre, passed away February 12, 2012 at St. Joe Manor.She was born May 18, 1931 in Irondale.Melba was a member of The Eastside Church of God in Leadwood and loved camping as well as sewing and embroidering. She is preceded in death by parents, Delmar and Ann (Peck) Mayberry; husband, Lindell G. Lawson, brother, Bert Mayberry and sister, Betty Brewer. Melba is survived by sons, Dewayne "Bo" Lawson and Gerald (Barbara) Lawson; brothers, Sonny and Ronnie Lashley; four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home of Leadwood from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, February 14, 2012.Melbas service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Sons Chapel of Leadwood Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ryan Retzer officiating.Interment is at the Adams Frankclay Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Eastside Church of God in Leadwood.
