Mathilda "Tillie" Cross

Mathilda Ann “Tillie” Cross, 69, of Bonne Terre passed away February 27, 2018. She was born June 25, 1948 in Bonne Terre. Tillie retired from Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center, where she was a Psychiatric Aide for 31 years and also recognized as Employee of the Month. She will be remembered as a selfless person and natural caregiver, who cared deeply for her family. Tillie was a member of Harvest Christian Centre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Irma (Witt) Smith; husband, Ronald L. Cross; brother, Eddie Smith.

Tillie is survived by her children, Tabatha Cross, Theresa Cross and Sandy Cross; one granddaughter, Mindi Craig and fiancé Corey Hill, Sr.; one great-grandson, Corey Hill, Jr.; two sisters, Johanna Bess and husband Marvin, Helen Kripplaben and husband Tom; two brothers, John Smith and wife Melinda, Dale Smith and wife Janet; two brothers-in-law, Richard Cross and Keith Cross; best friend, Violet Skaggs.

Visitation will be Friday, March 2, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Rev. Dwight Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Germania Cemetery. View obituary and share condolences online at www.www.czboyer.com
