Mary Maxine French

            Mary French, 92, of Farmington, passed away July 24, 2017 at Community Manor. She was born May 22, 1925 in Fredericktown, to the late Ben and Seripta (Sanders) Hovis. Mary was a member of the Desloge United Methodist Church, VFW #5741 Women’s Auxiliary and Eastern Star. 

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Glenwood French; sister, Marie Hovis; and daughter in-law, Hattie French. 

            Mary is survived by one son, Glen French; two grandsons, David French and Tony (Misty) French; three great-grandchildren, Anthony (Audrey) French, Alexis Joplin and Elijah French; brother, Clyde Hovis; brother in-law, J.D. (Janet) French; many nieces and nephews also survive.  

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10:30 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Pastor Pati Robertson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Sanders Family Cemetery in Silva.
