Mary Lou Rhodes

Mary Lou Rhodes, 78 of Park Hills, passed away December 8, 2011 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.She was born, January 15, 1933 in Hogan, Missouri. Mary Lou and her husband Jim owned and operated Rhodes Small Engine Repair for 10 years.She was also an active member of Esther Methodist church. She was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Eulah (Pearson) Sherrill; brother, James Sherrill; sister, Delores McFarland and great grandson, Carter Rhodes. Mary Lou is survived by husband, Jim Rhodes; children, Georgiana (Mrs. Robert) Bloom and Jonathan Rhodes of Desloge, Joni Marler and Carrie (Mrs. Christopher) Wadlow of Park Hills, and James J. Rhodes Jr and wife Melinda of Marquand; grandchildren, Brian Duncan, Mary Elizabeth Corcoran, Rebecca Crump, Garrett Rhodes, Jessica Rhodes, Alicia Eads, Jeffrey Wadlow, Charlie Wadlow, and Kristin Wadlow; great grandchildren, Chelsey, Dakota, Breanna, Dylan, Peyton, Colten, Carson and Riker; siblings, Charles "Pod" Sherrill, Louise Moore, and Donald Sherrill; several nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.The service will be held Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Esther Methodist Church at 2:00 PM.Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington.Memorials can be made to Esther Methodist Church.
