Mary Pettus, 78, of GraniteCity, IL passed away May 4, 2013 at her home after an extended illness. She was born October 19, 1934 in Advance, MOto the late Evert and Elsie (Green) Plumb.She married Walter J. Donnie "Curly" Pettus May 12, 1955.Mary is survived by herhusband, 2 daughters: Sandra Yager and Pamela Guidy: 2 sons: Larry and Terry Pettus. 10 grandchildren: Dawn Blakey, George Blakey III, Kristal Foster,Janneth Dunlavy, Josh Hall, Nathan, Paul and Ryan Pettus, Andrea Pettus-Jumber,Darren Pettus and Sara Stotler. 17great-grandchildren, Blakey, Kennyray, Dale, Abby, Hayden, George IV, Bradon, Hunter,Hanna, Hugh, Courtney, Ansley, Deckland, August, Kylie, Ryan and Tristan. One brother, Kenneth Plumb.She is preceded in death byher parents, one daughter, Micki Kremer; 2 brothers, Billy Plumb and Bobby DeanPlumb.Visitation will be from5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 at Wojstrom Funeral Home and Crematory inPontoon Beach, IL, and at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne TerreThursday, May 9, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m..Funeral Services will be Friday, May 10,10:00 a.m. at C. Z. Boyer Chapel in Bonne Terre, with Rev. Randy Murphyofficiating. Interment will follow atPrimrose Cemetery.In lieu of flowers,memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
