Mary Griffin

Mary Griffin, 56 of Mineral Point, passed away March 24, 2014 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. She was born November 5, 1957 in Bonne Terre. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and loved taking care of her grandkids.She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Harold Jarvis; son, Harold "Buddy" Griffin; sister, Brenda Cox.Mary is survived by her mother, Marple E. (Warren) Jarvis; husband, Vernon Griffin; sons, Robbie Griffin (Kayla), Michael Griffin (Maria), and Mitchell Griffin (Cathy); grandchildren, DJ, Austyn, Dakota, Dylan, Gavin, Phoebe, Buddy, and Hazel; brothers, Carl Jarvis (Judy), Dale Jarvis (Vicky), Buster Jarvis (Shelly) ; sisters, Betty Easter (Dave), Rosie Jarvis, Trina Valley (Jay); brother-in-law, Junior Cox; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery.
