Mrs. Mary Ethel Ramsey passed away Saturday afternoon, Oct. 27, 2007, at the Perry Co. Memorial Hospital, Perryville, MO., at the age of 87 years, 8 months & 17 days. Mary was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Ste. Genevieve Co., MO., & was the daughter of George Washington Smith and Permelia Ann 'Bowling' Smith. Also preceding was her husband, Reginald David Ramsey (July 28, 1995); 6 Sisters: Catherine Ramsey; Leona Westmeyer; Addie Watson; Susie Rhodes; Maymie Ragsdale & Luvinia Cross. 2 Brothers: Lawrence Smith (in-infancy) & George Washington Smith. 5 Half-Brothers: Walter Smith (in-infancy); Zeno Smith; Gus Smith; Pleasant George Smith & Harlan Bowling. Also, 1 Half-Sister: Minnie Johnson.

Mary retired from Farmington Presbyterian Manor and was a member of the Delassus Baptist Church

Survivors Include : 1 Daughter, Sandra K. Stuart, of Farmington. 1 Son: David W. (& Kathe M.) Ramsey, of Perryville. 1 Sister: Alma Scott, of Indiana; 4 Grandchildren: Dr. Michelle (Mrs. Chuck) Durham, stationed at Fairford AFB, England; Celeste (Mrs. Marc) Spickert, of Centralia, MO; Jeff A. (& Diana) Stuart, of Farmington; Christy (Mrs. Tim) Barnes, of Farmington. Great-Grandchildren: Molly & Kyle Barnes, of Farmington; Christopher & Katie Stuart, of Farmington; Forthcoming Baby Durham, of England. Also surviving are several Nieces; Nephews & Cousins.

Visitation: Monday, 6-9 p.m. Visitation resumes Tuesday at 7:00 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., Oct. 30, 2007,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. James Marlar officiating.

Interment at : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.

Memorials to : Delassus Baptist Church Building Fund.
