Mary Ellen Wells, 72 of Leadwood passed away at her residence Saturday August 27, 2016. She was born February 28, 1944 in Knob Lick. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ollie Smith, husband, Larry Ray Wells, sister, Glenda Mae Cox, brother, Howard Eugene Smith, and great-grandchild, Tristan Chase Whaley.
Mary is survived by children, Norma Jean Wells, Sandra Rae (Mrs. George) Parolin, Patricia Lynn (Mrs. Roy) Smith, Larry Wayne Wells and wife Rebecca, Sam Dean Wells; Brothers, Daniel Ray Smith, Larry Dale Smith; Sister, Barbara Ann Smith; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and very special family friend, Duck.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 9 am to 11 am at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Mike Barton officiating. Interment will follow at the Leadwood Cemetery.
