Mary Alyce Rabaduex of Desloge was born February 19, 1927, and died on November 17, 2012.She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Rabaduex, her parents Alonzo and Mary Alyce LaLumondier, and eight siblings.Survivors include: Children, Jim and Jo Rabaduex of Bonne Terre, Susan and Bill VanBuren of Fredericktown, Lon Rabaduex of Brooklyn Center, MN., John and Martha Rabaduex of Little Rock, AR., Nancy and John Rice of Sullivan, Jane and Bob Schmidt of French Village, Lora Beth Montgomery of Desloge, and Rob and Chris Rabaduex of Washington. She is also survived by22 grandchildren,20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.Mary Alyce was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Park Hills. She is also a member of the Ladies Sodality andparticipated in many of the sodality activities. She traveled with the 50+ Club. When her family was young, she was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She served on the Desloge Park Board and was an active voice for the building of the tennis courts and the establishment of Brightwell Park. Mary Alyce servedas the St. Francois Co Bloodmobile Chairman for many years.Mrs. Rabaduex also taught briefly at St. Joseph Catholic School in Bonne Terre and substitute taught for the Desloge and North County School Districts. Recently she helped distribute Meals on Wheels.Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.Vigil Serviceswill be at 7:30 p.m. at the conclusion of the visitation. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Mark Ebert and Father Jim French officiating. Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
