Marsha Ann Barton

Marsha Ann Barton, 64, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at St. Louis University Hospital.

She was born Tuesday, March 4, in Bonne Terre, to the late Marvin and Zelda (Mitchell) Hughes. Marsha enjoyed playing bingo and riding Harleys.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jamie Turner; and sister, Julie Hall

Marsha is survived by her husband, David “Tooter” Barton; son, Bradley Glen Turner; grandchildren, Daniel (Hanah) Hewitt, Tiffani (Justin) Ely, Nikki Williams, Ashley Turner, Julia Turner, Zelda Turner, Anthony Turner; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Marva (Jimmy) Skaggs, Marcus “Huey” (Anita) Hughes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Visitation will resume on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 with Pastor Mike Barton, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
