Mark Evans Jr.

Mark Evans Jr., 57 of Farmington, formerly of Coffeyville KS, passed away Tuesday,March 5, 2013 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born on October 7, 1955 in Coffeyville KS. He started with the Boy Scouts of America at young age and served in various leadership roles for over 25 years. Mark was united in marriage to his wife, Colleen, of 38 years on July 20, 1974.He was preceded in death by his father Marcus A. Evans Sr.Mark is survived by his mother Evalyn (Sells) Evans; wife Colleen (Arrick) Evans; sons Marcus A. Evans III, Matthew R. Evans and wife Vicki, Steven A. Evans and wife Angie; grandson Matthew R. Evans Jr.; and one sister Marsha Vinsonhaler.Visitation is Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills.Visitation will resume at Cantwell Baptist Church Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11:00 AMwith a service at 2:00 PM.Interment will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville, KS at 2:00 PM. Memorial may be directed to American Diabetes Association.
