Marion Ruth Flaton

Mrs. Marion Ruth Flaton passed away Saturday evening, April 27, 2013, at Camelot Nursing and Rehab Center, Farmington, at the age of 82 years, 2 months & 18 days. Marion was born on February 9, 1931, in St. Louis County, Missouri, and was the daughter of Joseph Schaffer and Irene 'Walter' Schaffer. Also preceding-in-death was her husband, Jacob Frank Flaton, May 21, 2003.

Marion was a retired dental lab courier and attended Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington. Marion volunteered at the Fredericktown Senior Center by driving for "Meals on Wheels." She also volunteered at the Parkland Health Center and 'The Factory' in Farmington.

Survivors include: a daughter, Peggy Burch, of Farmington, and a granddaughter, Emily Burch, of Normal, Illinois

Visitation : Tuesday, 4-6 p.m.

Memorial Service : Tuesday, 6:00 p.m., with Chaplain Bob Webb officiating

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL

Interment : Wednesday 12:45 p.m., May 1, 2013

at : Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis County
