Mrs. Marie C. Stanfield passed away early Tuesday morning, January 25, 2005, at the Baptist Home in Ironton, Missouri, at the age of 94 years, 5 months & 25 days. Marie was born on July 30, 1910 & was preceded-in-death by her husband, Dr. L. M. Stanfield, on July 19, 1973. Also preceding in death was 1 Sister, Marietta Jones.

Marie: * was a member of Desloge Baptist Church; * she converted to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 5; * she shared her faith by collecting and sending tracts to people; * she loved doing handwork, playing the piano; reading and exercise; * she united in marriage to Lee M. Stanfield on Sept. 6, 1940.

Survivors Include: 2 Daughters: Mary Beth 'Mrs. David' Blunt, of Desloge, MO; Linda 'Mrs. Richard' Ward, of Nashville,TN; 1 Son: Thomas F. (& Barbara) Stanfield, of Farmington; 1 Sister: Ruth Jacquot, of the Baptist Home at Ironton; 6 Grandchildren: Thomas Mark (& Anna) Stanfield, of Montgomery, OH; Brian (& Michelle) Blunt, of Desloge, MO; Brad (& Jill) Blunt, of Desloge, MO; Richard (& Emily) Ward, of Dickson, TN; Kelley Horton, of Nashville, TN; Robin & Rick Rasnic, of Clarksville, TN; Also surviving are: 12 Great-Grandchildren; several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation Thursday, 5-9 pm. Visitation resumes Friday, 7 am & funeral Friday, 11 am, Jan. 28, 2005, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Rev. Donald Stanley officiating, Interment follows at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
