Mrs. Marie 'Brown' Sutherland, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, formerly of Farmington, passed away August 19, 2004, in Florida, at the age of 93 years, 4 months & 8 days. Marie was born on April 11, 1911, in Royalton, Illinois, to Elmer & Pearl 'Robinson' Brown. Also preceding in death was her husband of 43 years, Floyd Sutherland (August 25, 1986), & brother, Elmer Brown (March 7, 1993).

Marie owned & operated Marie's Resale & Antiques for 30 years before retiring to Florida in 1986 with her daughter & family.. She is survived by 3 CHILDREN: Kenneth (& Sue) Fehrenbaker, of Michigan; Charles (& Dottie) Fehrenbaker, of Michigan; JoAnn (Mrs. Bill) Yeargain, of Florida. She is survived by 6 GRANDCHILDREN: Tina (Allen) Yeargain-Burpee, of Orlando, FL; Billy (& Kim) Yeargain, of Chattanooga, TN; Arlene; Cindy; Mike & Jeff, all of Michigan. 11 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN & 1 GREAT, GREAT-GRANDCHILD. Marie will always be remembered for her love of life & people. She was a great salesperson & loved her business & her family very much. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation starts Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Visitation resumes on Monday morning at 7:00 a.m., & funeral Monday morning, 11 am at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating. Interment follows at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Bonne Terre. Memorials may be given to The Alzheimer's Association.
