Margie Ellen Lashley

Margie Lashley, 91, of Irondale passed away October 16, 2017 at Georgian Gardens Nursing Home in Potosi.  She was born on May 10, 1926 in Crystal City to the late Sylvester J. and Hazel (DeClue) McClanahan-Bisher.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st Husband, Vertrece Lawson and 2nd Husband, Robert Lashley; sons, Gary and Lonnie Lawson; step-father, Ed Bisher; brother, Lester McClanahan; half-brother, Arthur Bisher; half-sister, Bonnie Slagger.  She was a member of Bread of Life Worship Center in Park Hills.  She was a long time cook at Bonneville Inn and Rosener’s Restaurant.

              Margie is survived by her children, Carl Edmond Lawson and wife Christine, Rick Wayne Lawson and wife Donna and Debra Ann Lawson; fifteen   grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Pastor Rocky Good officiating burial to follow at New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point.  Memorials may be directed to West County School Scholarship fund in memory of Vertrece Lawson and Rob & Margie Lashley.
