Mrs. Margaret Zona 'Stevens' Bailey went to be with her Lord & Savior whom she loved and served and shared the gospel with anyone she came in contact. A stranger to her was just a friend she hadn't met. Margaret passed away July 6, 2015, at the Westwood Hills Health Center, in Poplar Bluff, at the age of 88. She was born May 30, 1927. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Wm. "Bill" Bailey in 2012. Also preceding-in-death were: her parents, Leonard Stevens & Martha (O'Quinn) Stevens; 3 brothers - Campbell Stevens; Charles Stevens and Major Stevens, in-infancy. 2 sisters - Flory McCoy & Pat Lockhart. Also preceding-in-death was one grandchild, Jennifer Thompson & 1 great-grandchild.

Margaret was a Charter Member of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Farmington, MO.

Margaret and Bill were married 65 years and were the proud parents of 6 children: Georgia (& Gary) Vertican, of Cedar Glen, CA: Edward (& Evelyn) Bailey, of Pontiac, MI; David (& Janet) Bailey, of Hollywood, FL; Linda Sue (& Steve) McIver, of Poplar Bluff, MO; Steven (& Cheryle) Bailey, of Farmington; and Jeanette (& Rick) Holeyfield, of Woodruff, SC. A sister, Edna Kiel, of CA; 3 brothers: James Stevens, of VA; Rufus Stevens, of VA & Jerry Stevens, of FL. 13 Grandchildren & 8 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation Starts : Friday, 12 Noon - July 10, 2015

Funeral : Friday, 2:00 p.m. - July 10, 2015

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Bob Webb officiating

Interment at : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington

Memorials to : Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Farmington, MO.
