Marcella Marler

Marcella Marler, 94 of Leadwood, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born November 1, 1918 in Frankclay. She was a member of Overland Eastern Star #313, for over 50 years.Marcella was preceded in death by parents, Henry Orville and Bertha (Whaley) Compton; husband, Homer Marler; brothers, Paul, Gerald, Norman, Ronald, Robert, and Henry Orville Compton Jr.Marcella is survived by daughter, Beverly Bull; grandchildren, Timothy Bull and wife Cissie, Stephen Bull and wife Cheryl, Cheryl (Mrs. Kieth) Davis, and Jodi (Mrs. Matt) Wilson; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Carroll Compton and wife Diane; and sister, Jane Perrell. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, March 29, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Jobs Daughters Bible Ceremony, from Bethel #36 of Bonne Terre at 7:00 PM and an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 PM. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ed Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. Francois County Relay for Life.
