Lucille (Degonia) Crippen

Lucille Crippen, 93, of Park Hills, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014

at Woodland Nursing Home in Arnold. She

was born Sunday, September 26, 1920 to the late John and Annie (Prather)

Degonia in Flat River. She enjoyed cards, scratch offs, and loved bingo. In addition to her

parents she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her

children, Paul Shaffer; second husband, Bill Odom; third husband, Joe Crippen; son,

Harold Edward Shaffer; daughters, Mary Ann King and Barbara Lou Singleton;

brothers, Harold Degonia, Ed Degonia, Melvin Degonia, and Vernon Degonia; and

sister Iva Tucker.Lucille is survived by children, Norma Williams and husband

Charles of St. Louis, John Paul Shaffer of Park Hills and Tina Galvan and

husband David of Park Hills; a great many grandchildren; a multitude of

great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Visitation is Saturday,

May 24, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Pastor D.J. Edwards officiating the

funeral service at 1:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell

Chapel in Park Hills. Interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.
