Lorene Roe

            Lorene Roe, 79, of Bonne Terre, passed away, March 27, 2017. She was born December 9, 1937, in Tyronza AR, to the late Forest Edward and Helen Louise (Curtis) McGowin. Lorene was a member of the Open Arms Full Gospel Church and she loved gardening, yard work, and taking care of her animals. 

            She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gary Wayne McGowin; and one sister, Evelyn Sue Oglesby. 

            Lorene is survived by her husband, Leonard Roe; children, Dan Ray Roe and wife Monica, David Leonard Roe, Nathan Leonard Roe and fiancé Rebecca Anderson; five grandchildren, Shane Roe, Heather Maxim, Rachel Clingerbrewster, Jacob Roe and Brandon Roe; and nine great-grandchildren.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM. Pastor Louis Nash will be officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
