Lolita "Dee-Dee" Watson

            Lolita Watson, 93, of Ste. Genevieve, passed away June 22, 2017, at Ste. Genevieve Memorial Hospital. She was born August 30, 1923, in Flat River, to the late Elmer William and Kathryn “Katie” (Cheek) Shelton. Lolita loved to entertain by telling stories and singing songs. She was also a devoted Christian. 

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Ward Watson; brothers, William, Elmer “E.C.”, and Wendell Shelton; sisters, Lottie Patterson, Viola Weadon, Vivian Faulkner, and Hilda Smith.  

            Lolita is survived by one daughter, Brijin Kate Harvey of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandsons, Robert Watson Harvey, and Scott Bradley Harvey; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM. Reverend Chuck Henson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Park Hills.
