Lois Keown

            Lois Keown, 83, of Bonne Terre, passed away June 4, 2016 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. She was born December 20, 1932 in Leadwood, to the late Charles Wade Roney and Eunis (Young) Roney Bradley. Lois was a member of the East Side Church of God.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George E. Keown; son, Mike Keown; daughter, Barbara Keown, and one sister, Beverly Brewer.

 Lois is survived by two children, Terry (Theresa) Keown, Charles Dennis (Beverly) Keown all of Desloge; Ten grandchildren, Chad, Rodney, Rachel, Adam, Amber, April, Sean, Trevor, Keegan, and Quinn; seven great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Linda Lawson and Glen (Mary Ann) Roney.

 The visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge, Monday, June 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastors Ronnie Dane and Ryan Retzer officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to The Mike Keown Law Enforcement Scholarship Fund at Mineral Area College or The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
