Lisa Elaine Soden

     Lisa Elaine (Politte) Soden of French Village went to be with her Lord, Monday July 12, 2021. She was born and raised in Bonne Terre on June 29, 1965. Lisa was preceded by her father Leonard Walter Politte.

     She is survived by her husband, Matthew Soden of French Village; daughter Kristina and husband James Lambert of DeSoto; son, Zachary Black of Ste. Genevieve; mother, Betty and husband Bud Bayers of Bonne Terre; grandsons, Auggie and Knox Lambert; sister, Linda and husband Brian Aubuchon of St. Louis.

     Lisa's main passion was participating as a 17th Century re-enactor doing encampments across Missouri and Illinois.  She loved living the simple country life, being the farmers wife, watching her grandsons and gardens grow. Lisa was a Shepard to her sheep flock, a talented quilter, and amazing cook. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Fort De Chartres Gun Club and the French Marines.

    There will be two Memorial Services on Saturday for Lisa. The first service will be Saturday, July 24, 2021, at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre where visitation will start at 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. with the service to follow at 11:30 A.M. Chaplain Bob Webb to officiate.

    The second service will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 1:00 PM at Saint Anne Catholic Church in French Village with Father James A. Holbrook officiating assisted by Deacon Mark Byington.  Arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
