Mr. Linn Edward McCarty passed away at his Farmington residence on Thursday evening, February 27, 2014, at the age of 82 years, 3 months & 12 days. Linn was born on November 15, 1931, in Bonne Terre, MO., & was the son of Claude McCarty and Iva 'Morris' McCarty. Also preceding-in-death were: a sister, Virginia Pinkston and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Pinkston.
Linn was a US Air Force Veteran and member, Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896, Farmington.
Survivors Include: his wife, Patricia 'Mayo' McCarty, of Farmington. 3 children: Michael C. (& Sandie) McCarty, of Ballwin, MO; Kathleen (& Michael) Hopkins, of Bonne Terre, and Georganne (& Steve) AuBuchon, of Barnhart. 7 Grandchildren: Candice (Matthew) Pullen; Jacob AuBuchon; Casey Cassidy; Christina (Dan) Wexler; Jared (Danielle) AuBuchon; Corbin McCarty and Tiffany Hopkins. Great-Grandchildren: Clint Pullen; Caiden Wexler; Livy Pullen; Reagan AuBuchon and Carter Wexler. Special Niece & Nephew: Karen (Bill) Pinkston Evans; Keith (Kathleen) Pinkston. Also survived by other Nieces & Nephews; relatives & Special Friends.
Visitation : Tuesday, 4-8 p.m., Visitation resumes, Wednesday, 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., March 5, 2014
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating
Interment follows in : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington. The funeral procession to the cemetery will be led by LeadBelt Patriot Guard Riders.
