Lindell Mccarron Sr.

Lindell "Shorty" McCarron, 70 of Irondale, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born March 19, 1943 in Bonne Terre. Lindell was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Ironton and his favorite pass time was hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Marcus William and Mary Lela (Barton) McCarron; sister, Norma Stivers; two grandchildren, Leah and Levi McCarron; and one great-grandchild, Stephanie Rottler.Lindell is survived by wife, Martha (Dunlap) McCarron; children, Lindell "Butch" McCarron and wife Cynthia, Machelle (Mrs. Kenneth) Hedrick, and Julie (Mrs. James) Howell; five grandchildren, Justin, Tiffany, Angelique, Maranda, and Cortney; three step-grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, and Emily; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Spier, Marsha Storie, and Gwen Flat.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, June 21, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The service will follow immediately at 7:00 PM with Rev. Mike Barton officiating.
