Lindell Dale Black, 74, of Bonne Terre, passed away on Wednesday, July 31,2024, at Country Meadows, in Park Hills. He was born Thursday, December 1, 1949 in East Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late August and Mildred (Blanton) Black.

 Lindell was a loving and caring person who cherished spending time with his family, he was a man of many talents and passions, Lindell had a deep love for music, often seen singing and sharing his gift with others. He also had a kind and generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Lindell was a proud member of the East Bonne Terre Baptist Church where he found joy in worship and fellowship.

 Lindell is preceded in death by his parents; son, Shane Black; siblings, Joyce (Bud McCord) White, Maggie (Bill) Johnston, Kay (Jimmy) Wigger, Virginia (Albert) Smith, Sharon Loafman, George Black, Damon Black, Frank Black, Michael “Bo” Black; sister-in-law, Marilyn Black.

 He is survived by his loving children, Scott (Rhonda) Black of Bonne Terre, Mary Montgomery of Farmington, Amy Crawford of Farmington and Brent Black of Texas; grandchildren, Chad LaChance, Cody Crawford, Macy Montgomery, Kureston Black and Logan Black; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Homer Black, Randy (Connie) Black; sisters-in-law, Judy Black, Helen Black, Debbie Black; brother-in-law, Ray Loafman along with several nieces and nephews. Lindell will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

 A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 meeting at Bonne Terre Cemetery 3:00 PM Pastor Clyde Berry will be officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
