Linda Reed

Linda Gale Reed, 64, of Valles Mines passed away May 27, 2024. She was born August 21, 1959 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late Eldon and Christine (Brown) Tabor. Linda was very artistic and especially loved to sew and knit. She also loved dogs and enjoyed watching St. Francisco Giants baseball and their manager, Nestor Rojas. She was a very kind person, always helping any way she could. She will be remembered as a fighter, having fought many health battles and never giving up. She was the best mom that she knew how to be, but was a better “Grandma Piggy” to her babies. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard; and two sisters, Nancy and Margaret. 

Linda is survived by five children, Bonnie, Amanda, Michael, Jamie and Kimberly; fourteen grandchildren, Ashley, Daniela, Amaya, Michael, Donavon, Jordan, Jessica, Julianna, Mia-Jo, Miles, Kieryn, Kooper, Macklin, Tristan; seven great-grandchildren. She is also loved by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors who became family. The family would also like to thank the nurses at Serenity Hospice for their wonderful care, especially Ashley and Chelsie. 

There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
