Linda Agnew, a beloved member of the Park Hills community, passed away peacefully at her residence on February 18, 2024, at the age of 70. She was born on September 28, 1953, in Bonne Terre, to the late Charles Andrew and Zetta B. (Schumer) Agnew.
Linda was a cherished mother to her children, Deanna Agnew, Joseph Mattingly and Yvonna Mattingly; loving grandmother to, Jaelynn Faries, Peyton Pullen, Addisyn Pullen, Bentley Mattingly, Haylie Behrle, Gage and Gavin; dear sister to, Karen Agnew, Darnita Pratte and husband Jerry, Chuck Agnew, Larry Agnew, Ricky Agnew, Randy Agnew and wife Teresa, Darin Agnew, Linzy Agnew and wife Susie.
She is also survived by special friends, Carol Faries, Ashley Buckner, Connie Pritchett along with several nieces, nephews many friends and family.
Known for her unwavering faith and love for her family, Linda was a devout Baptist. She found joy in making crafts, writing poetry, and discussing topics close to her heart such as religion and politics. She had a passion for reading, coloring, and delving into the world of science fiction.
A public viewing to honor Linda’s memory will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 1:00 pm at C.Z. Boyer and Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place at the same location at 3:00 pm. Family, friends, and acquaintances are invited to attend the services and pay their final respects to this remarkable woman who touched the lives of many. Memorials can be made in Linda’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
