Linda Gowen

LindaLouise Gowen, 80, of Festus passed away March 1, 2014 at her residence. She wasborn July 28, 1933 in Valles Mines to the late Zeno Virgil and Isabel (Carson)Douglas. She was preceded in death byher husband Alvin Luther Gowen; daughter, Patricia Martin; sisters, JoyceThompson, Virginia Herspiegel; brothers, Buddy, Wilford and Gary Douglas. Lindais survived by three sons, Ronald (Jenny) Gowen, Dennis (Kay) Gowen, Gerald(Cindy) Gowen; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma(Calvin) Wright, Eva Billington, Janet Johnson; half-sisters, Sharon (John)Bach, Brenda Kirby, Margaret (Lloyd) Maize, Glenda (Patrick) Thornton;half-brother, Larry Douglas. Visitationwill be Tuesday March 4, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & SonFuneral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral service is 11 am Wednesday at the C.Z.Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Steve Clevenger officiating. Interment willfollow at Mount Olive Cemetery.Memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice.
