Lillian "Sis" Hammers

            Lillian “Sis” Hammers, 79, of Park Hills, passed away March 2, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 27, 1936 in Elvins, to the late Almon “Coonie” and Edna (Brooks) Kennedy. She was a member of Faith Fellowship and was a loving mother and grandmother.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Lee Hammers; four brothers, Benny, Danny, Allen, and Roger Kennedy; one sister, Cindy Kennedy.

             Lillian is survived by her children, Carla (Mrs. Tom) Nicholson and Vicki (Mrs. Bill) Pullen, both of Park Hills; five grandchildren, Dena (Mrs. Ed) Hart, Krista (Mrs. John) Kelly, Dan (Jackie) Bryan, Matt (Candy) Pullen, and Sara Cruse; seven great-grandchildren, Mady Hart, Sam Hart, Allie Kelly, McKenzy Bryan, Ethan Bryan, Natalie Cruse, Clint Pullen, and Livy Pullen; two brothers, Carroll (Fern) Kennedy of Desloge, Bill (Antha) Kennedy of Park Hills; three sisters, Marilyn Spangler of Bismarck, Susan (Mrs. Kenny) Dane of Bonne Terre, and Madonna Berger of Park Hills.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, March 4, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Shirley Martka officiating. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
