Lillian Norma-Lee Howard

Mrs. Howard, 91 of Taft, California, was born to Vetal and Nellie (Angel) LaPorte on Friday, April 15, 1921 in Mine La Motte, Missouri and passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. She attended and graduated from Flat River Public School and had made Taft her home since 1961.Mrs. Howard enjoyed sketching and painting.She was preceded in death by her husband George Lee Howard.Lillian is survived by her son and his wife, Ronald and Natalie Howard of Penn Valley; two daughters, Judie M. Brandon and Sherlyn S. Bull both of Taft; her 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. The visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills, MO Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 11:00 AM ?? 1:00 PM with the service immediately following at 1:00 PM. Rev. Larry Howard will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Mrs. Howard's memory to Optimal Hospice, 1315 Boughton Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93308.
