Leroy Tillman Mabery

            Leroy Tillman Mabery, 95 of Terre Du Lac, passed away July 7, 2018 at Parkland Hospital in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He was born August 26, 1922, in Bonne Terre, to the late Ralph and Velma Aretta (Govero) Mabery. He was a member of the Flat River Church of God. Leroy was a World War II Veteran and retired from St. Joe Lead.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Gladys (Bollinger) Mabery; second wife, Frances Larraine (Thurman) Mabery; step-son, Marvin Lee Holmes; five sisters, Juanita Doris Bradshaw, Norma Lee Politte, Shirley Jean Conway, Mary Christine Welch and Margaret Ann Pyeatt; eight brothers, Virgil Carl Mabery, Bural Westly Mabery, Ewell Truston Mabery, Donald Eugene Mabery, Olibell Frances Mabery, Roland Patrick Mabery. Emmet Warren Mabery and Melvin Keith Mabery.

            Leroy is survived by his daughter, Mary Eva Mabery and fiance' Nick Chambers; daughter in law, Ruth Ann Holmes; three grandsons, Marvin Lee Holmes, Jeffery Holmes and Michael Cole; one granddaughter, Marissa Cole; two great-grandsons, Teighan Hill and Christian Cole; five sisters, Opal Nadine Griffith, Marcella June Nelms, Sandra Delores Shuffle, Hope Yvonne Kohut and Sharon Adell Belew; two brothers, Brian “Butch” Stanford Mabery and Ronnie Ashley Mabery.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will resume on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 10:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM at C. Z Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Dan Hartley officiating.   Interment will follow at Obannon Cemetery in St. Francois County Missouri with full military honors.
