Leona Weir

            Leona Weir, 91, of Potosi, passed away June 22, 2016, at Potosi Manor. She was born October 19, 1924, in Cadet, to the late John and Melinda Almeada (Chamberlain) Price. Leona was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Desloge.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Tillman “Tim” Richard and Clayton Davis; three brothers, Lillard, Ivan, and Hoss Price; two sisters, Hazel Cain and Ollie Price in infancy.

             Leona is survived by her children, Susan (Bill) Landers, Bonnie (John) Pequignot, Wanda (Bob) Turnbaugh, and Dale Richard; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Delbert (Alta) Price.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, June 24, 2016 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Potosi.
