Leanna Ragsdale

Leanna Ragsdale, 81 of Desloge, passed away June 11, 2014 at St. Joe Manor. She was born October 19, 1932 to the late Cletus and Jewell (Buckner) Shaw and later married Ed Ragsdale, whom also preceded her. Leanna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge and Gama Ta Mu Camping Group. She worked as an agent for A. L. Harris Real Estate and secretary for Clyde Pattersons Insurance office.Leanna is survived by sons: Greg "Buns" Ragsdale and wife Mary, Doug "Bear" Ragsdale and wife Jeannine, all of Desloge; grandchildren: Leigh Marie Ragsdale, Cub Ragsdale and wife Shannon, Lori Jaco, and Tricia Lane; great-grandchildren: Charlee Beth, Cole, Taylor, and Drew; brother: David Shaw and wife Trish; nieces and nephews: Susan (Mrs. Christopher) Kennedy, Steven (Jessica) Shaw, Patrick (Rosemary) Shaw; and 7 great nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the Chapel, Monday, June 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bradford Laubinger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials may be directed First Baptist Church Building Fund.
