Leaman C. Rawson

Leaman Carroll Rawson, 81, of Bonne Terre passed away September 27, 2013 at St. Anthonys Medical Center in St. Louis. He wasborn March 5, 1932 in Palmer, MO. He proudly served his country in the UnitedStates Navy. He was a former Police Officer for Flat River and later worked inthe aerospace industry as a tool and die maker.He was preceded in death by his parents, Leaman "Pete"Rawson and Helen (Jinkerson) Montgomery; daughter, Mary Jo Rawson; sister,Bonnie Wall.Leaman is survived by eight children, Leaman GaleRawson of Joshua, TX, David B. (Donna) Rawson of Pearl River, LA, Linda (Ned)Wilson of San Antonio, TX, Mark Rawson of Joshua, TX, Sherry Buss of Slidell,LA, Tina (Don) Alt of Pearl River, LA, Kevin Rawson of Joshua, TX and LeamanJohn Rawson on Bonne Terre; thirteen grandchildren; fourteengreat-grandchildren.Visitation will be Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from10:00 AM until the time of service at Noon at the C. Z. Boyer & Son FuneralHome in Bonne Terre with Pastor Steve Clevenger officiating. Interment willfollow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
