Lawrence Marion Simpson

Lawrence M. Simpson, 67 of Bonne Terre, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Barnes Jewish Hospital.He was born June 17, 1944 in East St. Louis.Lawrence was a machinist as well as an electrician on the railroad before he retired. He is preceded in death by parents, Lawrence Leroy and Margarette (Parker) Simpson; daughter, Wendy Simpson; brothers, Edward and Lawrence Leroy Simpson, and step sister, Barbara Tabor. Lawrence is survived by son, Lawrence Marion Simpson II of Mulberry Grove, IL ; daughters, Yolanda Denise Sudduth of Kansas City, MO, Bernadette Michelle Simpson of Pana, IL, Dawn Marie Griffith of PA, and Julie Amber (Pat) Green of Bandalin, IL.; twelve grandchildren; siblings, Michael and Sheryl Simpson; step-siblings, Francis Stiles, Virginia Billings, Rita Graves, and Nadine Brueggemann. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with services following immediately in Chapel.
