Lavern "Granny" Eleanor Winebarger

Lavern “Granny” Eleanor (Beel) Winebarger, 90, of Farmington passed away September 15, 2023, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center. She was born December 12, 1932, in Glennon, Missouri to the late Geroge Alfred and Emma (Laurentius) Beel.

Lavern was a homemaker and loved writing poems. She also enjoyed playing cards, reading romance and western novels but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herman Daniel “Bud” Winebarger, Sr.; daughter, Nathalie Obenauer; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; four sisters; three brothers; one daughter-in-law; two sons-in-law.

Lavern is survived by her children, Danny (Carol) Winebarger, Dennis Winebarger, Sharon Clark, Karen (Tom) Grezeszak, Steve (Hazel) Winebarger; 19 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Eddie Beel along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 9 AM until time of services at 10:30 AM with Pastor Mike Haney officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Point Cemetery in Womack, Missouri. Memorial may be made to Silver Point Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
