Larry Salings

Larry Salings, 84, of Park Hills, passed away July 24, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. He was born November 25, 1939, in Brookland, AR, to the late Jewel and Hazel Juanita (Elder) Salings. Larry was a member of the First Church of God in Leadwood and enjoyed going fishing, singing at church, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. His grandchildren were most important to him. Larry retired from Missouri Illinois Tractor and Equipment in Bridgeton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Mardell Salings; and one brother, Jewel J. Salings.

Larry is survived by his children, Rev. Larry Steven Salings and wife Lynda, Christopher Don Salings, Shannon Marie AuBuchon and husband Pastor David; seven grandchildren, Hannah Sailings, Emma (Vern) Mascarenhas and Abigail (Jacob Neal) Salings, Zachary and Emily Salings, David (Elizabeth Callis) and Samuel (Marlen Suero) AuBuchon; one brother, Donal Ray Salings and wife Norma Jean; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.

A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, August 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Pastor David AuBuchon and Pastor Kendall Hughes will be officiating. Inurnment to follow at Little Brushy Cemetery in Wappapello, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Leadwood First Church of God or Farmington Pet Adoption.
