Lanny Leo Reed

     Lanny Leo Reed, 72, of Bonne Terre, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at his home. Lanny was born on Saturday, September 27, 1952, to the late Theo and Louise (Wilkerson) Reed. Lanny was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Park Hills. 

     Lanny was an owner/operator of Uniforms for U for many years. He loved his family, especially his five grandchildren. His feisty attitude, and his funny jokes will be missed. Lanny was an outdoorsman and was able to be outside 365 days a year. He was a man with nature, animals and the green earth.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Aaron Helfrich and Michael Reed, and his in-laws, Cyril and Emma Haudrich. 

     Lanny is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary (Haudrich) Reed; son, Adam (Catherine) Reed; daughter Callie (Gordon) Stuart; five adoring grandchildren, Jacob, William, Grant, Jonathan, and Emmalyne; siblings, Sandra (Tim) O’Shaughnessy, Terry Reed, and Deana Kay Engelbach; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Darwin (Donna) Haudrich and Norman (Diane) Haudrich;  Karen and Dan Helfrich ; many nieces, nephews and friends of Lanny’s also will be missing his smile.

     A visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home- Desloge, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M., followed by Mass at Immaculate Conception at noon with Father Larry Huber officiating. Interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Memorials are asked to be made to the Immaculate Conception Church and Grounds Improvement in Lanny’s honor.
