Ken Skiles

Kenneth “Ken” Wayne Skiles, age 66, of Bonne Terre, passed away on October 19, 2020, at St. Joe Manor.  He was born on December 5, 1953 in St. Louis to the late Jobe and Dolores (Carder) Skiles.  Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army.  In his earlier years, he enjoyed fishing. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ray Skiles, Sr.

Ken is survived by his son, Jeremy Wayne Welborn and wife Amber; step-daughter, Glenda Sue (Welborn) Jones and husband Michael; four grandchildren, Michaela Sue Jones (Tristan Kessel), Taylor Elizabeth Carol Welborn, Devin Wayne Welborn and Glen Michael Jones; great-grandson, Hudson Maverick Braun; two sisters, Kathy Hooker and husband Lawrence and Darlene Garrison; former wife, Judy Carol Welborn; several other family and friends also survive.

Ken’s wishes were to be cremated.  His family is planning a graveside inurnment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre
