Karen Mendenhall

Karen Lynne Mendenhall, 54 of Potosi passed away October 29, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital. She was born on August 06, 1961 in Jasper, Tennessee to the late Robert Joseph and Laura Alice (Tant) AuBuchon. Karen was an EMT employed with Washington County Ambulance District for the last 4 years and prior to that she was a pharmacy technician with Pharmax for 25 years. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by a brother Barry Wayne AuBuchon and granddaughter Lauran Herrington. Karen is survived by her husband, Jeff Mendenhall; daughters, Ami Melton, Karla (Josh) Herrington, Ashley Hardy , Amanda (Nicholas) Cain, Jacey Mendenhall; son, Travis Mendenhall (Jacque Bates); grandchildren, Cyrus Yount, Athan Melton, Daemon Cooper, Brooklen Mendenhall, Jadelen Mendenhall, Dylan Herrington, Maxwell Herrington, Dakota Hardy, Avery Cain, Eliza Cain; brothers, Robert "Keith" AuBuchon (Elizabeth), Brian Leigh (Linda) AuBuchon; sister-in-law, Gina AuBuchon; best friends, Edna Boyer and Sherry Battreal and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, November 01, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday, November 02, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home with Elder Bryan Buckley officiating. Interment will follow at Jarvis Family Cemetery.
