Kaitlyn Prater

Kaitlyn Rose Prater "kk" passed away Friday May 24, 2013 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. Kaitlyn was a student at the Farmington Middle School and loved softball and sports. KAT who wore jersey #23 was a member of the Blue Angels and played in the Girl PowerSoftball League. Kaitlyn is survived by her mother, Carolyn Sronce and fianc Travis Snyder of Farmington; her father, Glen Albert Prater & wife Jamie of Ill.; 3 half-sisters; Macey & Cheyanne of the home & Daisy of Ill.; a half-brother Tobin also ofIll. Also surviving are 3 step brothers, Miles, Chris & Jarad ofIll.; Grandmother Sue Dublin, step grandmother Lonnie Prater; Grandparents,Charlie & Karen Brewer of Farmington; Great grandparents Bill & MelbaMarler of Irondale, great grandmother Melva Cramer and a special Aunt LakaylaBrewer. In addition, many aunts uncles & cousins, Blue Angels teammembers, Coach Sweitzer & Coach Morgan, league members & teamcoaches will sadly miss Kaitlyn's enthusiasm and team spirit on the field.Visitation will be Monday May 27, 2013 from 5 to 9 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday May 28, 2013 at C.Z. Boyer Chapel in Desloge. Interment will follow at the Leadwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
