Judy Parmeley, 78, of Cedar Hill, passed away June 3, 2024, at Mercy South in St. Louis. She was born September 29, 1945, in Flat River, to the late Perry and Lorene (Politte) Hamor. Judy was of Baptist faith. She was employed at Rite Point Pen Company in Fenton as manager until retiring after 25 plus years of dedicated service. Judy traveled all over following her son, Brent and his dreams, racing BMX bikes. In her spare time, she enjoyed lying by the pool and when able, she enjoyed sprint car races. One of her favorite pastimes was watching westerns with her constant companion Joey, but most of all, was spending time with her pride and joy, granddaughter Hannah.
She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 54 years, Lindell Parmeley; three brothers, Homer Henderson, Don and wife Shirley Henderson, Jimmy and wife Dorothy Henderson; two sisters, Bonnie Cowley and husband Rick, Joyce Smith and husband Laurance; sister in-law, Phyllis Mason and husband Gary.
Judy is survived by her son, Brent Parmeley and wife Laura; granddaughter, Hannah Parmeley; sister, Alice (John) Bader; sisters in-law, Norma Ruthe (Ron) Fields, Mickey (Dan) Chorny and Joanne Henderson; several nieces, nephews; fur baby, Joey; special friends, Vernell Windes and Patti Sciaroni who took the time to brighten her days and lend a hand when needed.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume Friday, June 7, 2024, at 9:00 AM until the service time of 11:00 AM. Pastor Ron Fields will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Stray Rescue of St. Louis 2320 Pine St. St. Louis, MO 63103
