Mrs. Juanita Estella 'Pippin' Miller passed away Friday afternoon, June 29, 2007, at the Baylor All Saints Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas, at the age of 92 years, 4 months & 3 days. Juanita was born at Saco, in Valley County, Montana, on Feb. 26, 1915, & was the daughter of Calvin Henry Pippin & Estella O. 'Mason' Pippin.
Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Berl J. Miller (Nov. 16, 1990); 1 Sister: Maybelle Pippin Miller & 3 Brothers: Fred Pippin; Lester Pippin & Clarence Pippin.
Juanita was married to Berl J. Miller on June 29, 1935. From 1941-1977, Juanita & Berl co-owned & co-managed the Miller Funeral Home, Inc., in Farmington (predecessor to Taylor Funeral Service, Inc.). Juanita was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington & was very actively involved in the community.
Survivors Include: 2 Daughters: Barbara Ann Hall & son-in-law, Bennett Hall, of Flowery Branch, GA; Anita Carol Jones & son-in-law, Bud Jones, of Granbury, TX. 4 Grandchildren: Barbara Elizabeth Ambrose, of Buford, GA; Mr & Mrs Jeffrey Shoemake, of Lewisville, TX; Jay Shoemake, of Wylie, TX & Robert Hughes, of Flowery Branch, GA. 6 Great-Grandchildren: Natalie Shoemake, of Waxahachie, TX; Matthew Shoemake, of Ft Worth, TX; Autumn Hughes, of Buford, GA; Eden Ambrose, of Buford, GA; Nicole Hughes, of Buford, GA & Jacob Shoemake, of Lewisville, TX. Also, numerous Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation: Thursday, 4-7 pm. Visitation resumes Friday @ 7 am
Funeral Services: Friday, 10:00 a.m., July 6th
at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. Rick Broadway officiating.
Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington
