Joyce Schnitz

Joyce Schnitz, 83, of Terre Du Lac passed away March6, 2014 at her residence. She was born August 29, 1930 in St. Louis. Sheproudly served her country in the United States Navy. She was a longtimeresident of Terre Du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene andLorraine (Hotz) Matheny; husband, Donald Schnitz.Joyce is survived by three children, Thomas Schnitz,Elizabeth (Mrs. John) Haase, Lori (Mrs. Kelly) Pope; three grandchildren,Christopher and A.J. Haase, Amy (Mrs. Chris) Spurgin; brother, Eugene "Bud"Matheny. Visitation will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 10:00 AMuntil the time of service at Noon at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home inBonne Terre with Rev. John Haase officiating. Interment will follow at ResurrectionCatholic Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to Stray Rescue of St.Louis or Wings of Hope.
