Joyce S. Nance

Joyce S. Nance 96, of Bonne Terre passed away January 12, 2012 at St. Joe Manor. She was born October 24, 1915 in Bonne Terre. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Ethel Lindquist Circle, Bonne Terre Hospital Auxiliary and the Lambeth School Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Mary Alice (Pigg) Snyder; first husband, Raymond Saffell (1968), second husband, Nelson Nance (1978); brother, Jesse Snyder; sisters, Ostylee Baker, Winona Mayo; several half-brothers and half-sisters. Joyce is survived by Step Son, Murray Nance; three grandchildren; sister, Wanda (Stanley) Wieman; two very special friends, Steve Ancy and Bob Jenkins. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 11 to 3 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.Service will be 3 pm Sunday at the C.Z. Boyer Chapel with Michael Kelpe officiating.Interment will be at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.
