Joyce Pauline Rice

Joyce Pauline Rice, 77, of Bonne Terre, MO passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Hospital in Crystal City, MO. She was born June 16, 1934 to the late George Sr. and Gladys (Welker) Hedgcorth in Leadwood, MO. She was married to the love of her life, James E. Rice in Desloge, MO on October 3, 1954. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt.She was preceded in death by her parents, George Sr. and Gladys Hedgcorth, her husband James Rice and her sister Lillian Williams.Pauline is survived by her son Jason Rice of Bonne Terre, her daughter Suzanne (Mrs. Jeff Rasnic) also of Bonne Terre, her daughter Angela (Mrs. Michael King) of Park Hills, her twin brother Royce Paul Hedgcorth (and his wife Marlene) of Bonne Terre, her elder brother George M. Hedgcorth Jr. (and his wife Ruth) of Leadwood, her grandsons Lucas Branon of Bonne Terre and Matthew Branon and wife Lisa of South Aiken, South Carolina, her granddaughter Ashley Rasnic of St. Louis and great grandsons Cole and Ryne and great granddaughter Cloe as well as countless loving nieces and nephews and cousins and friends. Visitation will be at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Monday April 23, 2012 at 5:00 pm and the funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Park Hills, MO Tuesday April 24, 2012 at 10:00am. Donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
