Josh Varner, 29, of Bonne Terre, passed away March 15, 2015. He was born April 6, 1985 in Farmington. He is preceded in death by two grandfathers, Kenneth Varner and Harold Bishop; and best friend, Brandon Weible. Josh was adored by his wife Megan. He loved old country music, fishing and working. He was an extremely talented mechanic and he loved drag racing. He was inducted into the Big River Sand Drags Wall of Fame in 2013. He will be deeply missed forever by his family friends and loved ones. Josh is survived by his loving wife Megan Varner; parents, Dave Varner and wife Debbie, Theresa Gibson and husband Bob; two children, Brice David Varner and Brynne Lee Varner; two brothers, Brian (Tara) Varner, and Matt (Sarah) Bishop; one sister, Christine (Danny) McFerron; step-siblings, Chad (Amy) Brenneke, Brittany (Dennis) Strange, Ben Gibson, and Kyle (Tenille) Gibson; grandparents, Rose Ann Varner and Millie (Bob Zolman) Bishop. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Wednesday, March 18, 2015, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ronnie Dane and Rev. Scott Meeks officiating. Interment will follow immediately at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
